{March 1, 2010}   March madness

Can you believe it is March already? it is unreal to me that we have moved ahead through this year so far… sigh. The older you get, the faster it goes!

{February 14, 2010}   Welcome to a new year!

I am writing again and hope to have a new story out soon… it will fit into the summer category of sun, fun, sex, and romance.

In the meanwhile, read this great article by my good friend, Kim Smith

Kim Says : thanks to my recent book tour with Pump Up Your Book Promotions, my article was picked up by the Chicago Sun Times. http://www.suntimes.com/entertainment/blogentries/index.html?bbPostId=CzBA8ZKWtboWfB5KX8SLkb5NhCzDv3hfMdD3XuBFExkSwQwnpM

{December 29, 2009}   Holiday roundup

Christmas went by far too fast. I couldn’t believe it was here and then gone all in the length of time it took to whiz by. I had a great time though, eating and cooking and visiting with family. I suppose I should get on the scale soon to see where the poundage fell, but am not too enthusiastic to do so.

Hoping to get busy with a new story soon!

{November 7, 2009}   Elements of a Sensual novel deux

According to RWA *Romance Writers of America* 90% of the readers of sensual or erotic fiction are women.  The why of that is obvious, as most women want to read romance of some form or another.  Getting the stats on the industry is important if you want to write in this genre, because you have to know who will be your readership.

One of the elements of sensual fiction is characterization. You must must must write an interesting and engaging character that your reader will want to be with for the duration of the novel.

Will try to get another post up soon.
